Milk thistle (Silybum marianum)
Used as a medicinal plant for almost two millennia. The fruit contains the flavonolignans known collectively as silymarin.
Silymarin
The main active group from milk thistle. Its principal component is silibinin, studied for antioxidant properties.
N-acetyl-L-cysteine
A precursor the body uses to make glutathione, its most important intracellular antioxidant.
Artichoke (Cynara scolymus)
Used in Europe as a digestive remedy for more than a hundred years.
Dandelion root
Long held as a liver tonic in folk medicine across several traditions.

How to take it
A simple daily ritual
One or two capsules, twice daily

Standardised, not simply ground
Silymarin is the flavonolignan group the milk thistle fruit is valued for. Standardising it means every capsule carries the same amount, which ground seed cannot promise.
Fifteen to thirty days a pack
Sixty capsules, depending on whether you take one at a time or two. A traditional preparation is judged over months.
